Made from Gonçalo Alves, also known as Tigerwood, this
piece is inlayed with black stringing, and has a rising secret
compartment, or "Harlequin" section inside. |

The Harlequin section is made from Maple and Tigerwood with
several small hand dovetailed drawers and pidgeon holes. |

The Harlequin is operated by rotating a handle under one of
the flaps, turning it from a table into a desk. |

Both of the table leaves are supported on knuckle jointed Tigerwood
brackets. |

and the central door is inlayed with Maple Boxwood and Ebony. |
