Miniature Grandfather Clock

Made from American Black Walnut, with a quartz electric movement, thus allowing the case to be used as a "secret" storage compartment - a packet of biscuits maybe?.

Although modelled on a traditional grandfather clock this one is small enough to sit on a shelf or mantle piece.

The delicate proportions are also reflected in the knob of the lower door which has been turned to the size of a small fingernail.

The top is removable to enable changing of the battery,whilst the door infront of the face can be opened to re-set the time.
