Wardrobe in European Elm

This wardrobe in elm features a full-length mirror on the back of one door and some beautifully crafted drawers inside. It is part of a suite of elm furniture, which included chests of drawers and specially made triangular cupboards that were made to suit the pitch of the roof in the attic bedroom where they were to be used. Note also the striking figure of the grain on the piece of timber that was specially selected for the pediment.

Pencil post bed in American Cherry

This double bed beautifully crafted in American Cherry is a timeless classic with octagonal or pencil posts and delicate turned finials. Should you wish to add a canopy on a tester frame complete with curtains for greater intimacy, this is easily accomplished.

The legs on this bed are octagonal but you may prefer turned legs square legs or a sleigh-bed design. Maybe your taste is more contemporary in which case you may like to consider a bed made using large sections of chunky timber or fine curved laminations.
